The Caribbean, especially Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, has been a frequent destination for me, and also for my family.  Being originally from a small village bordering Haiti in Dominican Republic, opposite the Punta Cana coast, this destination holds a special place in my heart.  

 

Some of my favorite features include the comforting and relaxing emerald green ocean water, the soft sandy beaches, the warm and refreshing breeze, the typical food, and the hospitable people.

You know it's a nice place to visit when your son asks, "when are we going back to Punta Cana mom?"
